Middleburg, Virginia

Put on your Jackie O sunglasses and pack a bag for a stress-free getaway to Virginia’s Hunt Country.

Middleburg is NOT the spot if your dog is reactive to visible horses. But for everyone else? It can be a trigger-free paradise of spacious fenced rentals, quiet morning walks through open fields and cobblestone streets, and wineries with plenty of space between leashed dog visitors.

Note: There are certain periods where the area gets very busy, particularly the Christmas parade and the film festival. We recommend avoiding those times if your dog is people reactive.
